Hello, I propose you here my maintenance plugin in 1.8.X, it is an ultra optimized plugin to take the least possible resources of your server. It weighs only 11Kb. This plugin allows you to make your server private and to let in only the members you want. The whitelist system works with permissions, so you need a permission plugin or op the person (/op nickname) to be allowed to enter. The server messages are completely configurable! As well as the menu available with the /maintenance.
You can customize the kick message in the config file to make a clean interface.
The inventory is configurable, you can put the items you want!
The advantage of this plugin is that it's very easy to use, but also very light! Moreover the activation/deactivation of the maintenance can be done in several ways:
Permissions:
Open the inventory with /maintenance (maintenance.gui)
Activate maintenance with /maintenance enable (maintenance.enable)
Disable maintenance with /maintenance disable (maintenance.disable)
Reload the configuration (maintenance.reload)
Enter the server with maintenance enabled (maintenance.bypass)
